Biotechnology Seminars: DEB Friday Seminars cover a variety of Biotech related topics, open to all 

Online:  Sciences Careers has many resources for both academic and non-academic career    and professional development, as does Vitae (Chronicle of Higher Education). You need to register for both, but need not have a subscription to the parent magazine. Many professional societies (e.g. ASCB, GSA) have resources as well.
